United States President Donald Trump on Monday said that 'endless wars, especially those which are fought out of judgement mistakes that were made many years ago' would eventually come to an end.
The statement from the President came amid reports stating that the US would not withdraw its troops from Syria anytime soon.
The US President took to Twitter, saying, "Endless Wars, especially those which are fought out of judgement mistakes that were made many years ago, & those where we are getting little financial or military help from the rich countries that so greatly benefit from what we are doing, will eventually come to a glorious end!"
During his trip to Israel on Sunday, President Trump's national security advisor John Bolton informed that US troops will be pulled out of Syria only after defeating the Islamic States (ISIS) and ensuring that the Kurds are safe, reported Al Jazeera.
Bolton added that there was no stipulated time for the pullout of American forces in Syria, but insisted that it was not an "unlimited commitment".
Meanwhile, US commanders had recommended to the Pentagon that Kurdish fighters battling Islamic State in Syria is allowed to keep US-supplied weapon after the exit of US troops from the regions.
According to Sputnik, at least four White House officials have confirmed that the recommendations were part of discussions on a draft plan by the US military. However, it is unclear whether White House would implement it.
