Many Facebook users are unable to access their accounts as the social network website is reportedly not working at the moment.
Reports on Twitter are corroborating evidence that Facebook's website is down for many, Tech Crunch reports.
The social network posted a message to its developer site, apologizing for the inconvenience caused to Facebook users due to the downtime.
Facebook issued a statement saying that earlier this afternoon the social network experienced an issue with its serving infrastructure that prevented some people from accessing Facebook for a short time.
It added that the company has resolved the underlying problem and service is recovering.
