Manchester United fans have warned under-fire Scot David Moyes that he must turn around the club's fortunes, in response to a letter he wrote to the fans apologizing for United's poor show.
A spokesman for supporters' group Stretford End Flags said that Moyes' letter was 'ill timed' and claimed that fans want to see performance, not words of apologies from the United boss.
According to the Mirro, Andrew Kilduff, from Stretford End Flags, said that words and body language Moyes is portraying, despite every performance, result and team selection being analysed, is a battle for him and he should back up his words with performance on the pitch.
Kilduff reportedly revealed that information on season ticket renewals came out in February, three months earlier than usual and said that it was not the best 'PR move' by the club as the team in most seasons are still challenging for the league in February and in most years challenging in Europe.
However, Kilduff said that it is not the case this season and the prospect of Europa football is putting some fans off renewing, which are usually accompanied by words from former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson full of optimism and promise.
Kilduff said that he is fully behind Moyes, whose defining moment will come in 12 months' time when fans can assess the summer and January 2015 transfer window, the report added.
