Nathan Lyon could make way for James Faulkner as Australia looks to exploit bouncy Perth pitch in the third Ashes Test, according to reports.
According to The Daily Telegraph, now 2-0 up after crushing England by 218 runs in Adelaide, Australia has named an unchanged squad for the third Test, beginning at the WACA Ground on Friday.
However, off-spinner Nathan Lyon may be 12th man after a disappointing match, the report said.
Lyon played in Perth last season, when Australia was flogged by South Africa, claiming 3-41 and 0-128, the report added.
He conceded almost six runs an over in the second innings, the report further said.
No Australian spinner played in the two previous Tests at the WACA Ground, when India and England were flogged, the report mentioned.
