Veteran Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand has reportedly been crowned as the new champion of the latest edition of the FIFA video game series, FIFA 13.
According to the Daily Star, Ferdinand had warned his teammates at United that he would beat them at the game before retiring, and has managed to make his dream come true.
Stating that defender loves taking on and beating his team-mates at FIFA 13, one of Ferdinand's friends said that the player is very competitive at the game and does not like losing.
Meanwhile, Ferdinand had said that he did not see any better place than Manchester United, adding that even though Cristiano Ronaldo is a wonderful player, he had not won any more trophies ever since he left the Manchester club.
Ferdinand further said that Wayne Rooney's skills could be overshadowed just like Ronaldo if he quits the Old Trafford team, adding that the club was capable of winning maximum trophies.
