Retiring Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has joked that he planned to drink all the vineyards dry following his retirement.
The Scot, who will hang up his watch after Sunday's visit to West Bromwich Albion, said that he is planning on imbibing a good amount of alcohol as a part of his relaxation after a hectic 26-year coaching career, the Mirror reports.
Ferguson is also reportedly looking forward to spend time in South France with his family after retirement for which he has signed former international footballer Eric Cantona as his estate agent.
According to reports, Ferguson wants the perfect retreat in France where he and his wife can enjoy the French hospitality for six months in a year.
Meanwhile, the Scot has revealed that the son of his old Aberdeen chairman had played an important role in his phenomenal Manchester United success story.
According to Ferguson, Dick Donald, his then-boss when he was managing the Scottish club, told him six months before he took the Old Trafford job in 1986 that United were the only club which could satisfy him.
