As we are aware of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Drones that can be easily used as guided missiles to target key locations and installations, to discuss the key issue, FICCI is set to organise a seminar on 'India's Internal Security & UAVs' on December 14 December 2015 in New Delhi.
Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi will be the chief guest.
Air Vice-Marshal V. R. Chaudhari, Indian Air Force; Air Vice Marshal Rajeev Sachdeva, National Technical Research Organisation and Lalit Gupta, Joint DG, Directorate of Civil Aviation will also address the session.
The seminar will witness discussion on policy and regulatory challenges posed by civilian UAVs and also on technologies and solutions, which can aid in tracking and neutralise UAVs.
