England fast bowler Steven Finn is all set to be sidelined for at least a month after suffering from a hamstring injury, the country's cricket board has confirmed.
The 27-year-old sustained the left hamstring injury just two balls into his second-innings spell against Pakistan in the fourth Test at the Oval and was consequently left out of England's squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series,Sport24 reported.
Reflecting on the same, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) informed that Finn would now undergo a rehabilitation programme with Middlesex and England and, therefore, he is likely to be unavailable for approximately four weeks.
The ECB further said that the fast bowler is aiming to play a part in Middlesex's Championship campaign, which is to be held in September.
