A Delhi Court on Saturday granted interim order and restrained former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IREO real estate company, Ramesh Sanka, from posting libelous, malicious and scandalous messages containing name of firm's incumbent Indian Managing Director (IMD) Lalit Goyal on any social media sites.

As claimed by Goyal's advocate Vijay Aggarwal, the IREO partnered with the US President Donald Trump's Organisation in 2016 to build an office tower on the outskirts of New Delhi.

Sanka, has made unsubstantiated allegations without producing any concrete or direct evidence. He has resorted to conjectures and surmises coupled with ingenious drafting to give an impression of some alleged wrongdoing.

Goyal has filed a Civil Suit against his company's former CEO Sanka in relation to the various defamatory tweets that were being circulated by him on WhatsApp and other social media sites.

Sanka alleging some commission of fraud by Goyal in relation to the activities of M/s IREO Private Limited.

The said matter heard by the court in which Lalit Goyal sought grant of equitable relief of injunction to restrain continuous recurrence of such scandalous, malicious and defamatory publication(s) by Ramesh Sanka.

Reportedly, Sanka quit the said real estate company in late 2016.

The Trump Organization has five projects in various stages of development in India, making it the brand's second largest market outside of the US.
