The first ever gay comic book supervillain is set to appear in TV series 'The Flash', it has been reported.
The gay comic book supervillain will be known as Pied Piper and will be played by debutant actor Andy Mientus, the Daily Star reported.
Talking about his role, the 28-year-old actor asserted that it would be really great to see a powerful, out gay character giving The Flash a run for his money.
Mientus added that people don't expect a superhero show to go there.
'The Flash' is an American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.
