Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr dominated from the first round in his fight against Saul Canelo Alvarez to beat the fighter during their recent bout, raising his record to an impeccable 45-0.
According to stuff.co.nz, Mayweather expressed later that he did not know what the future held for him because he was not a psychic.
The fighter will now fight next May and he will make another huge purse to fund his ever-growing collection of exotic cars and his six-figure bets on football and basketball games, the report said.
Alvarez was supposed to be the one fighter who could give him a tussle, but the Mexican champion spent all night punching at air as Mayweather put on a virtuoso performance that had everyone raving except the one ringside judge who somehow found a way to score the fight even, the report added.
Mayweather attacked Alvarez with sharp jabs and straight right hands that found their mark early and often, the report further said.
Alvarez said that he obviously did not want to lose and it hurts.
Meanwhile, Mayweather said that he needs a vacation, as he has not had one in four or five years.
