Latest piece of speculation making its way around the web is that JonBenet Ramsey, the pageant princess who was murdered in 1996, grew up to be the pop princess Katy Perry.

In a recently resurfaced YouTube video from December 2014, the faceless voice of conspiracy theorist Dave Johnson proclaims that the bizarre 1996 Ramsey murder case was all a hoax that Perry has kept under wraps in her rise to fame, reports Us Magazine.

The narrator also clarifies that "nobody died, nobody got hurt," instead, Ramsey was sacrificed only in name, in return for becoming a star.

The YouTube user then revealed several facts supporting the claim, including the fact that JonBenet's parents, John and Patsy, look remarkably similar to Perry's own parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Perry.

Another theorist with YouTube username Jungle Surfer also pointed to the fact that the 31-year-old star and JonBenet look alike, right down to their similar eyebrows as "the eyebrows don't change much on a person."

The mystery surrounding JonBenet's murder, still to this day, remains unsolved. Though her parents, and even her older brother, Burke, were all named as suspects in the case, their involvement in the little girl's murder was cleared partially in 2003, and then, finally in July 2008.
