A former British Airways pilot Bartle Frere is facing jail after being convicted over arranging to meet boys for sex during stopovers in India.
Frere, 50, is from Dorset in England. He was found guilty of two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence.
According to Bournemouth Crown Court, he enticed a boy with gifts in India.
Frere was also convicted of keeping indecent photos and DVDs of nude Ukrainian boys that were found at his home.
However, the jury failed to reach a verdict on 17 other charges and the Crown has 14 days to conduct a retrial.
The judge renewed his bail and said that he would be placed on the list of sex offenders in the interim.
