Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met with a host of prominent international leaders during the second day of the ongoing G20 Summit in Argentina.

The Prime Minister shared images of his interaction with the leaders on his Instagram account. Among the most notable of the leaders, the Prime Minister interacted with US President Donald Trump, with whom he also attended the first-ever Japan-India-US trilateral meet on the sidelines of the summit.

Prime Minister Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two also participated in the Russia-India-China (RIC) Informal summit, the first such meet since the 2006 RIC summit held in Saint Petersburg.

He also met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the second day of the G20 summit, an international forum bringing together the 20 leading and emerging economies of the world to discuss key global economic issues.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar took to Twitter, sharing images of Prime Minister Modi interacting with other leaders ahead of the cultural performance and dinner hosted by Argentinian President Mauricio Macri.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and South Korean President Moon Jae-in were among the leaders Prime Minister Modi met as part of the final engagements of the second day.

Prime Minister Modi previously held separate bilateral meetings with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres on November 29 (local time) and addressed a 'Yoga for Peace' event.
