Police in Bihar's Gaya district have confirmed the seizure of a huge cache of explosives, including over 10,000 detonators, and arrested three men.

After receiving information about the explosives being transferred by car, police launched a search operation and checked vehicles moving along the national highway.

"We have seized 10,350 detonators and 650 gelatin sticks. We have also arrested three people," said Gaya's Senior Superintendent of Police Garima Malik.

Malik added the involvement of Maoists can't be ruled out.

Further investigation is on in the case.
