Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed his happiness after meeting noted Pakistani Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali at the Parliament.
"I felt very good after meeting Ghulam Ali sahab," Prime Minister Modi stated in a tweet.
"Ghulam Ali sahib said that he has been singing since the age of nine. A career spanning over six decades in an accomplishment," Prime Minister Modi said in another tweet.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Ali said that he felt 'very good' after meeting the Prime Minister.
"It was a good meeting. He couldn't come to Varanasi so he called me to meet him. He was very cordial, he said that he likes me to which I said that I too like him a lot. I felt very good," Ali said.
