Actress Jayma Mays is set to star opposite Tom Cruise in Doug Liman's drug-pilot drama 'Mena.'
The Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures project, which is a fact-based tale about Barry Seal, played by Cruise, a pilot who was a gun runner and drug trafficker who transported contraband for the CIA and the Medellin cartel during the 1980s, Deadline.com reported.
The title refers to Mena, AR, where a lot of the illegal activity took place under the noses of Presidents Reagan and Bush and then-Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton.
Mays, 35, will play the Assistant Attorney General of Arkansas Dana Sibota, who's foul-mouthed, unreasonable, demanding and desperately wants to take down Seal.
