Tech giant Google could be soon delivering place on refrigerators, car dashboards and even thermostats.
According to CNET, Google wrote a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in December, saying that while the US government wants to see revenue figures broken out in the mobile ad space, but the term 'mobile' is ever-evolving.
Google said a few years from now, companies could be serving ads and other content on refrigerators, car dashboards, thermostats, glasses, and watches, to name just a few possibilities.
However, Google didn't confirm that they will launch ads on mobile devices, but they said that they see future in which ads will be served at precisely the right time, based on need and relevancy, the report added.
Google wrote that 'Enhanced Campaigns' allows advertisers to write one ad campaign, which they can serve dynamically to the right user at the right time on whatever device makes the most sense.
The tech giant added as users increasingly view ads and make purchase decisions on and across multiple devices, the company's view of revenue is similarly device-agnostic.
