Google has released an update of its Slides app on Android with a couple of useful features.

According to The Next Web, the new version allows the users to move forward or backward through their slide deck using buttons in a lock screen notification, eliminating the need to unlock their device each time.

Also, the users can select 'Disconnect' to exit their presentation from the same notification.

When presenting to an audience on Hangouts, the users can now switch to video. The users just have to select on the video camera icon and they will be able to see other Hangout participants and pin them to their screen.
