Govt. convenes all-party meet tomorrow ahead of Monsoon Session

The Central Government has convened an all-party meeting on Thursday for the smooth conduct of business in the Monsoon session of Parliament beginning on August 5.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath has called the meeting, which will be attended by leaders of political Parties in both houses of Parliament.

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram will be attending the meeting along with leaders of various political outfits.

The government is keen to pass some key economic reform bills during the Monsoon session of Parliament besides the Food Security Ordinance and Land Acquisition Bill.
