Travel platform Guiddoo on Wednesday launched two new B2B travel technology solutions products for the travel industry, especially focused towards smaller and mid-sized travel agents, tour operators or destination management companies.

Technology has been a major challenge for the Indian B2B travel space. Despite the predominance of smartphones, many travel formalities such as reservation confirmations, directions, and itineraries are still a hassling task and are still paper based. The two new products aim to ease this process, making it hassle-free.

Trip Assistant helps travel agents keep in touch with their customers during a trip. From itinerary to live updates like pickup details and in-app communication through chat and call, the Trip Assistant is the best product to keep connected and remove uncertainty from a customer's trip.

A complete breakup of their personalised itinerary along with information about their hotel, driver and travel provider details will be available through the tool. They can also have a live chat with the support agent in case they want any help during their trip.

Guiddoo's mid-office and CRM introduces ease of management into the entire operations system, especially for tour operators and destination management companies. It is an interface that has an integrated lead management, query handling, finance and post sales management options, allowing you to manage bookings from the point of sales channels till the time the customer lands back after his trip. It helps tour operators effectively manage all the attributes and components of the system through a customized administrative interface which reduces dependence on emails and spreadsheets and adds efficiency to travel operations.

"Trip Assistant allows travel agent partners and their customers to manage their itinerary and in-destination experience whereas CMS and CRM systems allow content management and operations efficiency. The system is best in class a variant is being developed for a major airlines holiday product," said Vineet Budki, Founder and CEO of Guiddoo.

The B2B tourism industry is witnessing changes that have the potential to impact companies in a positive way. As B2B tourism professionals look to enhance their customer base through content marketing and in-destination experience management in a world of long sales cycles and more complex decision-making, companies would be smart to stay apprised of the trends and changes in the business.
