Gujarat Congress leaders, activists arrested following misgovernance protest

Prominent leaders of the Gujarat Congress unit were detained by police here, following their particpation in a protest against alleged misgovernance by the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government in the state.

Among those arrested were former union minister Shanker Sinh Vaghela, Arjun Modhwadia and Shakti Sinh Gohil.

The Congress leaders and activists were detained as they were marching towards the state assembly to register their protest over the policies being followed by the Modi regime.
