Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has lavished praise on pace spearhead Mitchell Johnson, describing him as a senior player who leads by his actions and playing the role of mentor for the emerging pace bowlers.
Hazlewood along with Johnson and Mitchell Starc have formed a formidable pace attack for Australia ahead of the World Cup, which gets underway on Saturday.
The Right-hand fast bowler said that they had really enjoyed having him (Johnson) around to learn off, adding that he leads by his actions, News.com.au reported.
According to Hazlewood, one has to take it upon himself to ask the questions and get the information out as Johnson had got experience under his belt.
Australia will open their World Cup campaign against England in Melbourne on February 14.
