Urging women to fake a pregnancy to gain a man, a Melbourne Facebook page is reportedly selling positive pregnancy tests for 20 dollars.
The pregnancy strips that test positive are also being promoted on suburban "buy swap and sell" Facebook pages, reported News.com.au.
The post read, "Ladies want your man to propose?! Positive pregnancy test for $20ea ... Make that man yours!!!"
A member of the Port Melbourne Garden City and Surrounding Suburbs Buy, Swap and Sell group said that she was appalled on seeing the "deceitful" advertisement
She said that the woman who posted the advertisement was selling the strips herself and offering them directly to anyone who would comment with "sold" on the page, which is how the closed group usually functioned.
The post was however, removed shortly after it was posted as it elicited negative comments.
