Julie Andrews, who has already admitted to have crush on her 'The Sound of Music' co-star Christopher Plummer, has revealed that she never dated him because they were never more than friends.
The Brit actress, who played the nun Maria who fell in love with Plummer's character Captain von Trapp, asserted that they should have ended together and they should have had a huge smashing affair but there was no time because she had her children with her, which was most inconvenient, ABC News reported.
The 79-year-old actress continued that she was not terribly happy at the time and she was quite lonely and her marriage was a little rocky with her first husband.
Andrews concluded that she and Plummer were never an item.
