A famous Swiss watch brand had fired off a cease and desist letter to Ray J for ripping off their design.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Watches watches are the favorites of many celebrities like LeBron James, Jay Z, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the company has claimed that the 34-year-old singer's watches have many similarities, including hexagonal screws placed at the corners of an octagon face, TMZ.com reported.
The documents also state that there were tweets from consumers where they said Ray J's watch were a "blatant ripoff."
While AP's piece sells for over 25,000 dollars, the singer's timepieces are priced between 150-500 dollars.
Though Audemars have given a deadline of February 3 to pull the plug on his watch, Ray J's manager, David Weintraub, said that they are pushing forward with the release.
