One person died while nine others were seriously injured after a jeep in which they were travelling fell into a gorge here on Sunday.
The incident took place near Gulaba on Manali-Rohtang road in Himachal Pradesh.
The tourists were travelling from Tata Sumo Jeep when at the top of the 14th turn, the jeep fell into the gorge. A tourist died on the spot, while nine other people were injured.
Those injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for the treatment.
According to the police, all these tourists are residents of Kolkata. Assistant sub-inspector Prem Singh Chauhan and Sub-inspector Yogendra Singh are present at the spot.
