In line with its aggressive expansion and strong focus on customer responsiveness, Home Credit India Finance Pvt. Ltd., one of India's fast-growing Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) has extended its employee base to 10,000 in India (including on and off-rolls employees).
A large chunk of Home Credit's employee pool comprises rural youth hired from the Government's National Skill Development Centres (NSDC) across different states. The company which has been enabling consumers across the country to realize their dreams and aspirations in a financially secure way is today present in nearly 50 cities across 14 states of India.
Home Credit's offerings primarily consist of providing in-store financing (direct non-cash loans in retail outlets) to qualified customers looking to purchase home appliances, laptop / tablets, mobile phones and two-wheelers.
Home Credit aims to drive credit penetration and has provided employment opportunities to provide quality assistance and guidance to its consumers. It services its growing customer base of over eight lakh in the country through a strong network of nearly 4,000 + Points-of-Sale (PoS).
Home Credit has assessment and hiring centers across Delhi NCR and Mumbai and believes in giving an opportunity to people of varied skill sets and qualifications. Company as a policy does not outsource manpower but instead hires them as on-rolls employees, providing them with benefits of ESIC, PF, Leave policy and other employee benefits.
Speaking about the achievement, Chief HR Officer Home Credit India Pvt. Ltd., Jindra Hachova said, "Home Credit has always been known to be a company with a vision and this milestone of 10,000 employees could not have been realized without support of our customers and hard work and dedication of our partners and associates. We also take pride in providing viable employment to educated rural youth through our tie-up with NSDC and hope to further increase the numbers in few years."
Once hired, employees undergo a specialized training program under which employees are hand- held and trained on BFSI sectorial knowledge as well as extensively on functional skills, since many of the hires are first time mangers, company spends time and resources on their learning and development as part of structured programs.
Besides India, Home Credit B.V has operations in 10 countries across Europe, Asia and North America.
The company is currently operating in Delhi NCR, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Bhopal, Indore, Kanpur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kota, Jabalpur, Kochi, Agra, Nagpur, Raipur, Surat, Nashik, Mysore, Madurai, Vizag, Vadodara, Rajkot, Trivandrum, Patna and will soon be present in many more.
