One Direction's hiatus might have been a bad news for the boy band's fans, but television producer Simon Cowell has insisted that the break is a good thing.
Claiming that he already knew that this break was coming, the 55-year-old Cowell said that he wishes that the group stays together, but he will not force them, as he has always given them freedom to make their own decisions, reports TMZ.com.
Cowell, added that even though the band-mates are young, they got exhausted due to the hectic schedule and having a year off is going to be a healthy thing.
