Helen Flanagan, whose Prestbury mansion was burglarized by armed robbers in her presence last week, has resorted to smoking after the incident.

Flanagan, who is currently dating footie ace Scott Sinclair, had promised to quit her 30-a-day habit as part of her New Year resolutions for 2013, the Mirror reported.

The former 'Coronation Street' star was spotted lighting up a cigarette as she left home to shop for groceries and then on her way back.

An eyewitness said that Flanagan was doing so well since New Year and if all gets well maybe she'll stop again when she feels confident enough.
