Hull City manager Steve Bruce has said that he believes Tottenham Hotspur can win the Premier League this season.
According to the Mirror, Bruce pointed out that this was the strongest Spurs side he could remember in all his time in football both as a player and a manager.
Hull City and Tottenham are scheduled to meet in a league game this weekend.
However, Bruce said that it was a matter of mentality and attitude if the Spurs were to break a half-century hoodoo, having last been crowned League champions 52 years ago.
He added that the team was knocking on the door when Harry Redknapp was manager there and now, they had as strong a squad as anybody in the top flight.
Bruce also stressed that his Tigers won't be running scared at White Hart Lane after making an impressive start to life among the big boys, the report said.
