Hundreds participate in yoga campaign in Mumbai

In an endeavour to promote healthy living, an NGO on Sunday organised a yoga campaign 'Yoga by the Bay'. in Mumbai.

'I love Mumbai' an NGO led by BJP leader Shaina NC organised the campaign at Marine Drive.

BJP leader Shaina NC said, "You know our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started International Yoga Day on June 21, and we have taken this campaign as forward as possible. Now, our only agenda is to ensure people are healthy, people respect their city and people love there city. I think the fact that this organisation has grown so large is obviously the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi of spreading awareness of yoga."

Health guru Mickey Mehta, who has especially devised a 'Yo Workout' that entail simplified yoga, which can easily be practised by the people of all ages, said, "It is very gratifying because this movement, which our PM Narendra Modi ji has started and Shaina NC ji has taken it forward. It is so good, yoga is so good. It is an answer to all problems, it's a solution to all problems of life."

Since the yoga campaign began on International Yoga Day on June 21, it was attended by as many as 8,000 people. It has become a monthly fixture occurring on the last Sunday of every month.
