Hyderabad mayor announces compensation for family of labourers killed in building collapse

Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan on Sunday announced an ex-gratia of Rs. two lakhs to the kin of the labourers who died after an under construction two-storey building collapsed in the Film Nagar area.

The police have registered a case of negligence causing to death.

As many as 10 people sustained injuries in the accident.

The police officials and fire service were rushed to service to clear the debris and control the situation.

The injured were later rushed to a nearby district hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
