Gerard Depardieu recently revealed that he can drink around 14 bottles of wine per day, it has been reported.

The 65-year-old actor said he starts drinking before 10am and also downs champagne, liqueurs and spirit but insisted that he never gets "totally drunk," the Mirror reported.

When he's bored, he drinks, however apart from compulsory moments of abstinence but now he has to be careful while drinking after bypass surgery, and cholesterol, he further added.

The french filmmaker also mentioned that he shot two lions in Africa, although he wasn't there for hunting and it was a legitimate self-defence.
