Charlie Hunnam has addressed the concerns of the fans, saying that he is aware that he has not met their expectations of the character.
The 'Sons Of Anarchy' star told Us magazine that he was taking the project very seriously, as many fans of the book know that he is not what everyone imagined Christian Grey to be on the surface, Metro.co.uk reported.
Hunnam said that reading is personal and people always bring a character to life in their imagination, as they feel ownership over that particular character.
The 33-year-old actor said that he intends to explore the nature of his character, his motivation and is trying to dress up nice and look good in the suits.
The film, which is based on the erotic trilogy by El James, will feature Hunnam opposite Dakota Johnson as the main leads.
