Sacked Delhi food, civil supplies and environment minister Asim Ahmed Khan on Saturday said that he was a "victim of the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) internal politics", a day after he was removed over corruption charges by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Revealing the name of the middleman whose voice was recorded, Khan said the middleman was none other than senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Shakeel Malik.

"The middleman is not a builder or a mediaperson, but the other voice in the audio tape is of none other than vice-president of the Delhi minority wing and director of the Delhi Minority Finance Corporation Shakeel Malik," Khan told a press conference here.

"The question arises as why his name was not mentioned in the audio clip. I was a victim of party's internal politics. I will bring more evidence in front of the media in a couple of days," Khan added.

Denying all corruption charges levelled against him, Khan said he was in a room with several other people for over two hours, and came to know about his sacking only after he switched on his cellphone after he came out of the room.

"Where I was and what happened with me during the two-and-a-half hours when I was in that room, I will disclose later. I was sitting there without any knowledge of my sacking," he added.
