Like many other actresses in tinsel town, Sonam Kapoor also thinks that there is discrimination in terms of pay in the entertainment industry.
During the unveiling of the 2016 Women of Worth Awards, the 30-year-old actress said she works with people who know her worth.
"I do not work with people who do not respect me enough to give me my worth. That has always been my stand and that's why I always work with directors and producers and companies who give me what I deserve and who give me that respect, otherwise I always take a stand and choose not to work with them," Sonam was quoted as saying.
Women of Worth Awards 2016 celebrate and felicitate extraordinary Indian women for their powerful contribution to the society.
Sonam will be next seen in Neerja Bhanot's biopic 'Neerja' which has been directed by Ram Madhvani.
