British actor Idris Elba, who has portrayed a wide array of roles during his career, feels that playing late Former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela in the 2013 film 'Mandela
In an interview with a leading magazine, the 43-year-old actor admitted that playing Nelson Mandela was one of the great moments in his career, Channel 24 reports.
"I felt I'd entered the upper echelon of my profession," he said.
The 'Beasts of No Nation' actor further said that he finds playing bad guys in the movies more interesting as such characters allow one to explore different and intense emotions.
'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' was a British-South African biographical film directed by Justin Chadwick, based on the 1995 autobiographical book 'Long Walk to Freedom' by anti-apartheid revolutionary and former South African President Nelson Mandela.
