IFFD's India Runway Week winter festive 2017 designer's lineup announced

Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) has announced its show schedule and designer line up for India Runway Week (IRW) Winter Festive 2017 which will kick off its Ninth edition from October 6-8, 2017 at DLF Place Saket, New Delhi.

Indian Women's Cricket Team Captain Mithali Raj will walk the ramp for designer Purvi Roy, Actress Shriya Saran for Kavita Agarwal, Singer Ankit Tiwari & Shibani Kashyap for Apash by Aparna & Shruti and Rajat & Sumit respectively, Multi-talented Shibani Dandekar is surely going to take your breath away on Twee In One by Niti Singhal show, Choreographer Geeta Kapoor is all set with her charisma for Jewellery Designer Akassh K Aggarwal. India Runway Week Winter Festive 2017 will also have popular Bollywood names such Saiyami Kher of Mirzya fame for Priyal Bharadwaj; Beauty queen Lopamudra Raut for Gazal Mishra and television actress Ridhi Dogra for designer Miku Kumar can be seen walking the ramp and spreading their magic at the show.

This season, designers from a medley of time-honored, as well as neophyte designers from across the country will be seen at IRW W/F 2017, adding cultural significance and social responsibility to its roster - not to mention, James Ferreira who will do the opening show and Bibi Russell, Internationally acclaimed Bangladeshi fashion designer along with up to 40 designers will be showcasing through runway and exhibition, will add uninhibited glamour in an extravaganza which comprises splendid shows on the ramp at the IRW W/F 2017.

With opening show of James Ferreira, India Runway Week welcomes back designers such as Varija Bajaj, Bibi Russell, Kaaisha by Shalini, Nikheil & Rivendra, Miku Kumar, Neha & Shivangi, Jewellery designer Akassh K Aggarwal and Rajdeep Ranawat, who will once again show their highly anticipated forward season collections i.e. winter/festive 2017.

And designers making their debut will include Niharika Pandey, Gazal Mishra, Sulakshna Jasra, Sangeeta & Swati, Sadan Pande, Avrachic by Shalini, ethnic wear brand Shree, Kaynnat by Aanchal Sawhney, Isabis Couture by Parul M Dhawan, Kavita Agarwal, Sehrish Kabir, La-styliste by Purvi Roy, Paksh by Sudhir Nayak, Indian August and Priyal Bhardwaj along with 10 Newgen designers, making this season sensational and present their Winter Festive collection to influential press, buyers and industry delegates.

India Runway Week kicks off a busy schedule of forward season designer shows running from Friday, October 6, 2017 to Sunday, October 8, 2017. Fashion lovers have plenty of opportunities to be part of the event.
