IITF begins, to focus on Women Entrepreneurs

The 34th edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) began today at New Delhi's Pragati Maidan.

The fair, will continue up till November 27, and will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee.

While Thailand is the focus country in the fair, South Africa will be the partner country. This year, Delhi is participating as a focus state.

The event will also focus on social issues including cleanliness drive launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the theme of this year's IITF is Women Entrepreneurs.

According to reports, over 6,500 exhibitors from 25 countries including China, Germany, Japan are participating in this event.
