Following the recent spate of ceasefire violations by Pakistan, the Shiv Sena on Wednesday said India needs to show its strength to the neighbouring nation.
"India is only responding to the ceasefire violations by Pakistan. If we have the strength, then where is it hidden? We need to show our strength to Pakistan," said Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
His remraks came after Pakistani troops resorted to heavy overnight shelling in Poonch and Balakote sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.
The firing started in Poonch at 9 pm and continued till four in the morning, while in Balakot sector it began at 9.15 pm and lasted till 1.30 am.
BSF troops retaliated appropriately to the firing.
