Maggie Gyllenhaal was recently in for a shock when she was told that she was too old to play the lover of a 55-year-old male character in a movie.
According to one film's casting executives, the 'Honourable Woman' actress was turned down for a part in a film because the actress was considered past her prime, Contactmusic reported.
Gyllenhaal, who is 37-year-old, felt humiliated and angry after receiving such poor treatment.
