The ISIS loyalists have claimed that they have confiscated military equipment belonging to a U.S. soldier.

They also released several photographs, which purportedly show the confiscated military equipment along with an ID card of the soldier identified as Rayan Jay Larson, reports the Khaama Press.

The sympathizers of the terror group said the equipment was seized after it repelled a joint raid by the Afghan and U.S. forces in Nangarhar province.

This comes as the coalition officials confirmed that five U.S. soldiers sustained injuries during an operation against the ISIS terrorists in Nangarhar province.

The U.S. soldiers carried out the joint operation along with the Afghan Special Forces.

The Afghan Security Forces commandos launched a major operation against the loyalists of the terror group in Nangarhar after it cleared the restive Kot district from the presence of ISIS militants.
