The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed Pakistan's Defence Secretary Khawaja Asif and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Rizwan Akhtar to nominate officers to appear before the court in the case of a lawyer who has been missing along with an accused in the Federal Investigation Agency's (FIA) prosecutor murder case.
According to the Dawn, IHC Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui observed that the court had issued an order on July 3, 2015, summoning the defence secretary and the ISI DG in connection with the case.
The court directed the DG ISI to depute an officer of the rank of a director or above to assist the court in the matter.
Lawyer Hammad Dadan has been missing since June 20.
