The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), which dominates the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, has accused Israel of being 'fully responsible' for the death of a toddler in the West Bank.
According to the BBC, the Palestinian officials called it 'a direct consequence of decades of impunity given by the Israeli government to settler terrorism'.
Slogans in Hebrew, including the word 'revenge', were seen sprayed on a wall of one of the firebombed houses.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the other hand, has taken to twitter to call the attack 'reprehensible and horrific', adding that Israel takes a 'strong line against terrorism regardless of the perprators'.
The 18-month-old boy was killed in an alleged arson attack by suspected Jewish settlers yesterday night in the village of Duma.
His parents and brother suffered serious injuries.
