The Bikers Group of Delhi on Sunday, came out in support of the ex-servicemen's protest for the One Rank One Pension scheme.
"We want the government to know that our ex-servicemen are not alone. The nation is with them. We will not let our veterans suffer alone," said the group's leader.
"We are the Harley Owners Group in Delhi. We are a 1000-plus community. We all feel for this cause and that is why we are here. If need be, we will make riding to Jantar Mantar a regular affair," added a biker.
Another biker said how "the country which is based on the 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' slogan, has failed to live by it time and again. Both the farmer and the soldier have to come on the streets for getting their share of justice."
The OROP protest is being spearheaded by the Indian Ex-servicemen's Movement (IESM), which represents nearly three million ex-servicemen.
