Jane Lynch paid tribute to her 'Glee' co-star Cory Monteith calling him "a beautiful soul" who was "not perfect", at the Primetime Emmy Awards Ceremony.
The 53-year old American actress said that the "gifted and wonderful young man" was "worthy" of his fans' love, Radar Online reported.
Lynch acknowledged the 31-year old Canadian actor and musician's substance abuse problems and said "his death is a tragic reminder of the rapacious, senseless destruction that is brought on by addiction", and added that "tonight we remember Cory for all he was and mourn the loss of all he could have been".
