Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Friday.
Kishida is presently on a three-day official visit to India on the invitation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Swaraj will co-chair the eighth India-Japan Strategic Dialogue with the Japanese Foreign Minister tomorrow. They will review all aspects of the bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
