Amid the ongoing firing by Pakistan along the Line of Control, an Indian Army patrol party fired was upon by terrorists in Pulwama's Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir.

The entire area has been cordoned off as the Army is sweeping the area for the presence of untoward elements.

Meanwhile, two civilians have been killed as Pakistan Army continued its unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir, to which the Indian troops are giving a befitting reply.

"Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars from 0715 hours along the Line of Control (LC) in Naushera sector," said an official statement.

The Indian posts are retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is presently on.

After Nowshera, another ceasefire violation was reported in Majakote.

The district administration has rushed relief and rescue teams to the site and have also established relief camps in Nowshera.
