Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge has reportedly taunted Premier League title rivals Chelsea for purchasing flop striker Fernando Torres for 50 million-pounds from the club.
The Liverpool hero has reportedly ridiculed Chelsea and said that the club owes them a lot, as they were kind enough to give them the huge amount of cash for Torres.
According to the Daily Star, Aldridge said that Chelsea did them another 'massive favour' when they took just 16 million-pound from Liverpool for their striker Daniel Sturridge to move from Stamford Bridge to Anfield.
Torres has reportedly failed to find the form that prompted Chelsea to spend the huge amount of cash on the Spain star.
Meanwhile, Aldridge heaped praises on Liverpool's defender Martin Skrtel and said that the centre back has really turned it around considering that he spent the second half of last season sitting on the bench, the report added.
